Jim Markeas, who was named 2015 Riverland Winemaker of the Year at the prestigious International Wine Competition in New York, have aimed to reflect the brand’s history, where Eleni and Peter Markeas were among a wave of Greek immigrants to settle in the region, establishing their vineyard with shiraz grapes in 1969.
