Have fun but always use caution and common sense
Water safety is absolutely paramount in and on the Murray River and Lake Bonney, and anyone that uses the river must understand and be aware of the dangers.
It is always strongly recommended that children wear life jackets near and around water at all times.
New regulations regarding the wearing of life jackets came into effect in December 2017 and all boaters need to know what to do to make sure that they and their crew comply. You can view the new life jacket requirements here.
